Pastor Peter & Alice Mutabazi
Welcome to BWAISE Pentecostal Church

Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My name is Peter Mutabazi  I am the Pastoral team leader of Bwaise Pentecostal Church. I am married to Alice and we have five children. We live in Bwaise one of the biggest slums of Kampala the capital city of Uganda. We welcome friends who would like to partner with us. We started a school in 2006 in response to the great need of education in this slum area. We started with 50 children in our church auditorium. Right now we have 200 children from baby class up to primary four. We want to build this school up to primary seven by 2013. We plan to buy land and build LifeCARE secondary school for our sponsored children. We shall have a church within for spiritual development and will include skills development on our school calculum so that our children will be sure of a job after school.

Our vision is to educate the disadvantaged children and to disciple them for Christ to be exemporaly citizens and productive leaders in their communities.

Happy kids
Happy kids in our community
Life Care Child Development Network  exists to ensure that the lives of all children and young people is free from poverty, abuse and discrimination. We provide direct support to children, young people and their families and community  through sponsorship and developmental projects.

We believe that children are created in the image of God regardless of their circumstances, gender, race, disability or behaviour. We believe that without a firm foundation for children there is no good future for any society. We support children because we believe that every child deserves the best start in life and the chance to fulfil their God given potential.
The future of our society depends on children and so we endeavor to see that they are  protected from harm, should enjoy good emotional and physical health and feel like they belong in their home and community. It is never too early or too late to offer a helping hand and to give the most disadvantaged children a chance of a better childhood and a brighter future.

Widows CLass

Today Sunday 1st November 2009 we concluded a three days missions campaign led by a team of students from Glad Tidings Bible College. Andrew Kaluma (team leader) Ojok Thomas, Bernard Tumusiime, Ssekandi, Opio Clement, Charles Maole, Murunga Julious, Johnson Mugumya, Lilian Twinamasiko, Livingston Enyenu, Juliet Kisakye, Denis Ayebazibwe, Kakooza James, Kabicci James and Arach Vicky.
They arrived at Bwaise Pentecostal Church on Friday evening and led in a powerful overnight prayer that takes place every last Friday of the month here at Bwaise Pentecostal Church. On Saturday morning they joined hands with BPC congregation and went out into the community and shared the good news. 66 people gave their lives to Christ and today 8 people came to Church. Pastor Peter called upon the congregation to do immediate follow-up hopefully the number of new believers joining the church will increase. Pastor Adrew Kaluma the team leader and Pastor Livingstone promised to come back again to help in training church members to keep the fire of missions burning in the church.  We thank the administration of Glad Tidings Bible College for sending their students to our community to bring glad tidings.

We had homogeneous groups meet in different locations for a full hour before the main service began. The marrieds, the youth, the children, the widows and singles all had their special classes and the testimonies that came out of those classes was overwhelming. One widow came to me after the service with allot of excitement that she had heard from the LORD speaking directly to her life situation. “I am not the same” she said “I feel the presence of God now” It was too real that her face was shining than ever before. Thank you to all who are praying for us and please continue to pray.  The forces of witchcraft and Islam in our community are too high. Thank God He has given us momentum to press on. Thank you.

Cell B3Bb4 Presenting a dance on Cell Summit

We held our first Cell summit at BPC on 5th November 2008. It was a joy to see cell members sing and dance to encourage other church members to join home cells. In thier songs and drama they portrayed the benefits of being a cell member and at the end few people were able to find cells which meet in their localities and joined them. The cell leaders were glad to receive new members. Our church vision is to become a cell based community church and our mission is to disciple our community through demonstrating practical Christianity.
